About the event

Un Grito Gallery is pleased to present "Threads of the Digital Sisterhood” an exhibition of recent works by Rachael Duke. This show will open Thursday, March 6th and Friday, March 7th, 2025, from 7-10 pm with a closing reception held on March 20th, 2025. Statement: I fuse feminist artwork and activism to empower social change.


I fuse artwork and activism to disrupt oppressive structures and empower social change. Much of my recent artwork and activism are about issues uniquely affecting women and girls. This series is inspired by women's online stories about 'Choose the Bear,' 'Women in Male Fields,' and '24 Hours without Men.'


Rachael Duke has a BFA specializing in Sculpture with a minor in Art History from the University of Texas at San Antonio. While creating for decades, she only recently began exhibiting her artworks. Un Grito Gallery is presenting her first solo exhibition. She is an activist…
