Hiromi Stringer, creator of a new series of work called “The Umeyama Reports” will be discussing her artistic process and the inspiration for her fictional time traveler character, Umeyama at Cinnabar.

Learn about Umeyama’s tavels from 19th century Japan to modern-day South Texas and how his observational reports and beautiful paintings later came to reside in the “Umeyama Time Teleportation Museum.”
Her works are created in sumi ink on oriental paper and graphite for the accompanying gallery painted words. Her attention to detail is unmatched as is her humor and wit to create an alias time traveling artist.
