Hello Studio Presents Casey Galloway: Tactile Memory

Tactile Memory brings together the processes of papermaking, weaving, crocheting, dyeing, and embroidery. Galloway employs these processes and their repetitive motion to examine lost memories and internal change. Modular arrangements occur throughout Tactile Memory, The Quilt is a collection of 150 handmade dyed paper units. These units explore her ongoing interest in the relationship between textile media and memory.
Casey Galloway received her BFA in Fiber from the University of North Texas. She is the co-owner of Wool Tree Yarn and the Interim Fiber Coordinator at the Southwest School of Art.
Hello Studio is an independent artist-run gallery and art space focused on hosting exhibitions that showcase emerging visual artists in Texas.
Tactile Memory is on view until November 29.
