“I love the richness of mythology, no matter whose mythology it is — everything from Greek mythology to Cucuy. It’s all fair game.”

“I’m always under the gun,” says Walsh, who earned his undergraduate degree at UTSA and his master’s degree at the California College of Arts and Crafts. “If I had started this show five years ago, I would still be at the same point I am right now. My problem is I’m a fusser. I won’t let things out of the studio until I have to. It’s the endless sort of picking and making it right.”

FL!GHT is excited to present new paintings in our back room this November by Lloyd Walsh!
