Host an Event at Brick Because, Why Not?

Brick, nestled in the middle of Blue Star Arts Complex, offers a baroque style warehouse setting fabulous for a multitude of events. Walking into the main venue, you’re instantly drawn to the two, 80-year-old German chandeliers, which act as the centerpiece of the room. A great venue for special events, programs, pop-ups – anything you want – there are truly no limitations. The gallery can accommodate up to 299 yet also works as an intimate venue for 50. The space is completely transformable and the brains behind it are a breeze to work with.

Featured in San Antonio Weddings, you can snag a peek at how the space can be transformed into a romantic venue. Alternatively, visit their regular Sunday Arts Market to, in their words, “shop local, have fun, see people and sip from their bar”. Vintage finds from clothing to vinyl are lined up alongside local artists and artisans. Henna applications, astrology readings, sweets and delicious empanadas de Rene Guerrero are staples and favorites at the Sunday Market. Oh, and beer, wine and mimosas are on special ranging from $2-$5!

Primarily an arts venue for performance; think dance, theatre, literary, music, film, and fashion a multitude of other gatherings have taken place in the space as well. Great for hosting corporate mixers, non-profit events, yoga classes, and workshops, all inquiries are welcome. Out of left field (like most things at Blue Star Arts Complex) are you a fan of The Walking Dead, Twin Peaks or the San Antonio Spurs? They host TV and game nights. That’s right; watch episodes along other die hard fans and cheer on your Spurs with your Southtown community. Love board games? Go to Brick on Monday nights from 6-11:30pm and enjoy strategy board games, cards, darts and ping-pong. Yes the bar is always open during these events, so grab a beer, challenge your brain and have some fun!
